Helios
I was born on a small Greek island and came to America as a boy. I didn't bring much with me — mostly my grandfather's stories. Odysseus, the Cyclops, the long way home.
I worked with my hands for thirty years until the plant closed. One afternoon I mixed a batch of resin, just to see what would happen. I've been pouring those old stories into light ever since.
Every lamp still gets made the slow way — poured, left to cure, then sanded and colored by hand, one piece at a time. Some take two or three tries before they come out right. The ones that go out are the ones I'd keep for myself.
